Benjamin Adam Roland, age 69, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
Benjamin, known to many as Ben or Benji, was born on May 22, 1956, in Pohnpei, Micronesia. He moved from his beloved islands to the great state of Alabama in 1974, where he built a life centered around family and hard work. Ben enjoyed a long and dedicated career in management at Pilgrim’s Pride in Boaz until his first stroke in 2003.
Since that time, Ben continued to live a beautiful and joyful life surrounded by family, friends, flower gardens, and memories made while traveling the world. He was filled with life and laughter and was truly a light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ben is survived by his daughter, Hollie Mason (Dusty); his son, Nillsteve “June” Edward (Erleen); his grandsons, Zane Epperson, Taylor Pope, Leron Edward, and Easton Mason; his granddaughters, Malika Edward and Annika Edward; siblings, Susa Rekemesik, Edwin Benjamin, Nick Benjamin, Nina Certeza, Mackenzie Benjamin, Tony Benjamin, Merselina Benjamin, John Benjamin, Tommy Benjamin, Benster Benjamin, Mary Benjamin, Esther Benjamin, Lydia Jack, Vic Jack, Dolorina Babauta, Wayne Jack, and Jackleen Jack.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carmina Weilbacher Jack; his father, Ichiro Benjamin; and his brothers, Arthur Benjamin, Joe Benjamin, Kennedy Benjamin, Jackson Eneriko, Jackson Jack, and Jeffrey Jack.
Ben was the biggest Alabama football fan and made sure everyone knew it. He loved spending time outdoors fishing, with his flowers, swimming, playing with his dogs Bella and Lucy, enjoying the sunshine, and above all, loving his family fiercely.
Visitation for Benjamin Roland will be held Monday, January 12, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Adams Brown Funeral Home in Albertville, Alabama.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Adams Brown Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home and Memory Gardens in Albertville, Alabama.
Ben will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Pallbearers: Zane Epperson (grandson), Chris Eneriko (nephew), Daniel Eneriko (nephew), Kaden Bell (nephew), Andrew Benjamin (nephew), Tommy Benjamin (brother), and Roman Seneres (brother-in-law).
