Andrew Wayne Edmonson, age 46, of Guntersville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital.
Andrew was a lifelong resident of Guntersville and attended Guntersville High School throughout his school years. He formed friendships early in life and maintained many of those relationships from kindergarten into adulthood. Known for his easygoing nature and loyal heart, Andrew had a wide circle of friends who loved him deeply and will forever cherish the memories they shared.
He was employed for several years as a machinist at Metal Research in Guntersville.
Andrew is survived by his mother, Pam Byrum Edmonson; his father, Wayne (Kathy) Edmonson; his brothers, Cory S. Edmonson, and Matthew Palmer; his sister, Kassie Edmonson; and five special nieces, Abbie, Averie, Bella, Emma, and Ellie. He is also survived by a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert W. and Iva Mae Edmonson, and Orris B. and Marjorie Byrum.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
