Ms. Wanda Jeane Cash, age 85, of Joppa, Alabama, passed away peacefully at Marshall Medical Center North on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Born January 27, 1940, in Lawrence County, Alabama, Wanda was the beloved daughter of William Horton and Mildred Parker Horton.
Wanda found joy in caring for her lawn and working outside in her garden, enjoying the beauty she created. She was deeply devoted to her family, cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren and loved ones. Her faith was important to her, and she treasured attending church with friends and family. Wanda’s love for her husband was unwavering, and she missed him dearly after his passing.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Carl and Sharon Cash; daughter and son in law, Teresa and Javier Torres; grandchildren, Brodie Cash, Brandy Morgan, Donna Davis, Brittany Cash and Billie Jo Cash; great grandchildren, Savannah Davis, Alivia Davis, Austin Orr, Hunter Orr; great great grandchild, Colton Orr; brother, Jerry Horton (Sherry); sisters, Joyce Nelson and Vernell Jones.
Family preceding her in death include her parents, William and Mildred Parker Horton; son, Steven William Cash; brothers, Buddy Horton, Gathel Horton and Jackie Horton.
Services for Wanda are planned for Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the funeral service begins at 2:00pm. Brother Earl Harper will officiate. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Javier Torres, Brodie Cash, Austin Orr, Hunter Orr, Jerry Barnett and Carl Cash. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
