Eva C. Davis, 98, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at North Ms. Medical Center, Iuka, MS. She was born in Dennis, MS to William Claude Carr and Essie Cleo Melton Carr. She worked at Blue Bell for thirty-one years. Eva was a member of Liberty Church of Christ and was baptized in Cedar Creek in 1940. She enjoyed working in her garden and was a wonderful cook.
Services will be Friday, December 26, 12 p.m. at Liberty Church of Christ, Dennis, MS with David Conley officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 11-12 p.m. at Liberty Church of Christ. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children, Lonnie Davis (Tressie) and Patricia Cofer (James); grandchildren, John Davis (Ginger), Corey Cofer (Kristi), Jacob Davis (Courtney), Shea Cofer (Mandi) and Joel Davis (Emily); twelve great-grandchildren and one sister, Faye Lodahl.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Wayne Davis; her parents and siblings, Orville Carr, B.C. Carr, Verlon Martin, Reba Deaton, Freemon Carr and Ellis Carr.
Pallbearers will be John Davis, Jacob Davis, Joel Davis, Corey Cofer, Shea Cofer and Corbin Cofer. Honorary pallbearer will be Garrison Davis.
