Bobby Madewell, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his home in Ardmore, Alabama.
Bobby was born on Wednesday, March 10, 1943, to Mr. John Windall Madewell and Mrs. Vanitta Yell Madewell in Madison County Alabama.
He spent all of his life in Ardmore, Alabama. He was a member of Piney grove Baptist Church.
Bobby loved spending time with his family and grandkids. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as working in his garden.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother: Johnny Madewell.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Macie Madewell; one son; Kevin (Lisa) Madewell, four grandchildren: Gabrielle (Bronson) Ellis, Makenna (Jake) Couch, Grant Madewell, and Garrett Madewell, as well as one great grandchild Hattie James Ellis, three nephews; Brandon Madewell, Jody (Tori) Simmons, Ronald Ashby.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Adam Mikel will be officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice would be greatly appreciated!
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
