Funeral service for Rhona K. Segars Voss, age 68, of Hillsboro, will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Godbee officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Moulton City Cemetery.
Mrs. Voss, who died Friday, December 12, 2025, at her residence, was born May 16, 1957, in Alabama to Louie Ralph Segars and Betty Wonnell Carter Segars. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Segars; and sisters-in-law, Karen Segars and Donna Voss. She enjoyed cooking, crafting, making floral arrangements, and watching the many birds who visited the feeders in her front yard. Rhona loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and enjoyed gospel music.
She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Voss; son, Brad Voss (Candi); daughter, Crystal Spigle (Nick); brother, Rickey Segars (Pam); two grandchildren, Austin Voss and Raigan Voss; and a host of nephews, nieces, extended family, and beloved friends.
Pallbearers will be Austin Voss, Mike McAbee, Danny McAbee, Dewayne Cooper, Rickey Segars, and Burl Stricklin. Honorary pallbearers will be Raigan Voss, Kinley White, Lauren Harris, Karley Garrison, Sherry Jones, and Liz Reed.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Aveanna Hospice.
