Janice Foxx
Tupelo-At 3:53 PM on November 20th, 2025, our Lord summoned an Angel home. Janice (Jan) Rae Foxx. Jan was born in Buffalo, N. Y. on April 24, 1944, to the late Angelo Falson and Rae Brooks Falsone. Jan was the second born having two sisters: first born, Joyce Falsone Pepper and third born Judy Falsone McEvoy. Jan grew up in Buffalo, graduated from Kensington High School and worked at St. Francis Hospital as a “Candy Striper” studying to be a nurse. Jan met Greg when he was scheduled for knee surgery. They were married within a year and stayed married for 61 years. Jan is survived by her sister Joyce Falsone Pepper, loving husband Gregory P. Foxx, oldest son Gaylord P. Foxx, second oldest Kevin G. Foxx and wife Shea Turner Foxx, youngest Patrick D. Foxx and brother-in-law Douglas P. Foxx; Greg’s twin brother. Jan had many nieces and nephews. Jan was a sun worshiper, loved the outdoors and transitioned from activities like horseback riding, bowling, fishing excursions to bunco, ceramics and bridge as she aged. She joined the tupelo MS Duplicate Bridge Club where she made a few lifelong friends and became a Life Master. Jan had a strong faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and imbued that faith into the children. Jan was full of life, had a great sense of humor and relished having the entire family together for dinner and fellowship, no special occasion required. Jan was the cornerstone of the family; she will forever be in the minds, hearts and souls of those who loved her.
Services were private. Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo is honored to be serving their friends.
