Christine Evelyn Cooke Gillott, age 82 of Falkville, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Thursday, December 10, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born October 06, 1943 in Toledo, Ohio, to Floyd and Dussie Cooke. She attended several high/grade schools, including Addison and McAdory, graduation from Meek High School in 1961. Christine worked for Wal-Mart in Cullman for 24 years, retiring from Wal-Mart in 2019. She married the love of her life, Charles Gillott in 1961. Together, they raised three children. Chrstine enjoyed traveling, fishing, and spending time with her grandkids. Always cheerful and compassionate, she brought joy to everyone around her and always gave her time selflessly. The Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery (6180 Norris Mill Road, Hartselle, Alabama). Christine is survived by her brother, Sammy (Helen) Cooke; children, Deann (Rick) Carmickle, Lisa (Joe) Stover and Lucas (Leighann) Gillott; grandchildren, Ricky (Allegra) Carmickle Jr., Kristin Carmickle, Stephen Mather, Timothy (Madison) Carmickle, Bobby (Leah) Gilliland, Jacob Brooks, Rachel (Mark) Flinn, Trevor Lee, Justin Mather, Katie Gillott and Kendra Gillott; and twelve great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gillott, parents, Floyd and Dussie Cooke; her brother, Dennis Cooke; and her sister, Gloria (Wayne) Scott.
