Mrs. Lillie Ann Isom PierceLillie Ann Isom Pierce, born March 13, 1938, to Leon and Girneal Isom, lived a life filled with dedication, love, and service. For more than thirty years, she and her husband, Joel, faithfully operated the Lexington H&R Block Tax Office, serving their community with integrity.

Affectionately known as “Grammy,” she cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her famous “Grammy’s Camp,” held during the summers, was a beloved tradition that created lifelong memories.

Mrs. Ann devoted much of her life to community involvement. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Business and Professional Women’s Organization, the Red Hats Club, and the Senior Citizens Center of Scotts Hill. Her faith was central to her life; she was a former member of Red Walnut Church of Christ and later became a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Milan, TN after relocating to the Jackson area.

In her spare time, Mrs. Ann enjoyed working with her hands and creating beautiful pieces of art. As a member of the Peace by Piece Quilting Guild, she crafted many quilts for family members throughout her life. She also enjoyed making Diamond Art, bringing color and creativity into her home and the homes of those she loved.

Mrs. Ann is survived by her devoted husband of sixty seven years, Joel Pierce; her three daughters: Shelia Champion (Jim), Deneen Ferrell (Danny), and Cerenia Lindsey (Terry); her grandchildren: Amber Jones (Brandon), Ryan Ferrell (Kira), Kati Ferrell, Chase Lindsey, Konner Lindsey (Amanda), Cole Champion (Heather), Alex Champion (Caroline), and Jack Champion; and her great grandchildren: Libby Jones, Oliver Lindsey, and Barrett Champion.

She is also survived by her siblings Billy Isom, Mary Smith, Helen Carlisle, Martha Yopp, Judy Hughes, Patricia Maxwell, Wanda Pulse. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Leon Lloyd Isom Jr, and her son-in-law Jim Champion.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11th beginning at 10:00 AM at Red Walnut Church of Christ, with funeral services scheduled for 12:00 noon and interment to follow in the church cemetery.
