Ben George Lewis, 69, of Toney, AL passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Ben was originally from Yazoo City, MS and attended Mississippi State University. He moved to Huntsville where he started Lewis Land Surveying. A well-respected businessman, Ben enjoyed almost 40 years of serving his customers.
Ben loved his family, his work and his dog, Hershey. He was known for his contagious smile and laugh, his quick wit and his kind and patient nature.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Cecil Lewis and Margie Foster Ferguson.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Angela Lewis; daughters, Haley Elizabeth Lewis and Chelsea Paige “Worm” McGuff; sister, Cindy Lewis Crowell, her husband, Steve, and their children, Jacob Crowell, John Crowell, and Sarah Johnson.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00p.m. Friday, November 28th at Laughlin Service Funeral Home followed by the funeral at 4:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 29th at 2:00 pm at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Bentonia, MS.
