Cathy D. Eaton, 76, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, AL. She was born in Chicago, IL to Edward Kurek and Virginia Barnes Kurek. She was a school teacher and attended Grace Chapel Church in Pickwick, TN.
Services will be Saturday, November 29, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Dr. Leonard Pratt officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, November 29, 1-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two sons, Brandon Eaton (Jennifer) and Eric Eaton; two grandchildren, Naomi Witcher (Jacob) and Talise Eaton; a sister, Patti Lisowski and two nieces, Kasey Sprenkle (Lauren) and Michelle Melby (Christopher).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Eaton, her parents, a brother, John Kurek and a sister, Karen Lefevre.
