Barbara Smith McCoy, 86, died Friday, November 21, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was born August 7, 1939, to Yulas and Daisy Smith. She was a member of Macedonia Church. She was a long time employee of Western Electric and AT&T before her retirement. She was a dog lover, enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 24, 2025, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Houston officiating. Burial will be in Smith Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
She is survived by two sons, Tim (Nanci) McCoy and Ed (Wanda) McCoy; one daughter, Rhonda (Joe) Malinowski; one sister, Genella (Lester) Holmes; four grandchildren, Marissa, Chris, Blake and Joey; and two great-grandchildren, Isla and Leary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. McCoy in 2005; her parents; two brothers, Ezra Smith and Samp Smith; and two sisters, Mernie Guthrie and Madge Dallison.
