Jean Simpson, 83, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Survivors include her husband, James Ray Simpson; children, Cheryl May, Jimmie Cherry, Gaylene Wilson (Mark), Charlotte Carter, Debra Key (Tab), Jamie Simpson, and Chuck Simpson; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Valentine Sims.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Farley Community Church, 12302 Bell Road SW, Huntsville, 35803. The funeral will follow in the church at 3 p.m. with Pastor Mike Hulsey officiating. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles, LA.
