Jeremy Joseph West, 40 years old, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Huntsville, AL surrounded by family.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, 2320 Bob Wallace Ave. SW, Huntsville, AL, followed by a memorial service in the chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow at Back Forty Beer Company, 3254 Leeman Ferry Rd. SW, Huntsville, AL 35801 from 4:30-6:30. Friends and family are welcome to share memories of Jeremy with each other and enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
Jeremy was born in Cincinnati, OH to Suzanne West (now Rosborough) and Joshua West in May 1985. He went to high school at both Oak Hills and Loveland HS and graduated in 2003. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in information systems from Athens State University. He worked as an IS Tech for 10 years. He enjoyed so many things including reading, kayaking, RC helicopters and video games.
Jeremy is survived by his mother, father, two sisters, as well as stepfather and three step siblings.
Jeremy’s jovial nature and humor brightened our lives. His absence will be deeply felt by all those who knew him and his memory will be carried on in all our hearts.
