Amanda Ruth Littrell Lowe of Decatur/Hartselle,AL passed away October 8th,2025 at the age of 69. Her life is defined by devotion and hard work. She had a deep love for the Lord and family.
Amanda enjoyed spending time outside, In her garden, keeping bees, traveling, cooking, reading, church worship, visiting with friends/family, laughter and enjoying life on her farm with devoted and loving husband, Mark Lowe, of 26 years.
Amanda graduated from Auburn University. She was instrumental in continuing the legacy of her multi-family generational sawmill, Littrell Lumber Mill, located in Decatur,AL.
Amanda Ruth was proceeded in death by her parents, Thomas Avery Littrell Jr. and Melba Ruth Richardson and is survived in life by her siblings, Thomas Avery III (Lisa), Mary Ellen Edwards (Charles), Kelly “Rich” Richardson (Connie) and John “Wade” (Leigh). Many nieces and nephews. A great grand of extended family members and many friends.
Thank you to her special angels, Carlin Rains and Ellie May Muse, who wrapped their loving wings around Mark and Amanda this past year.
Amanda Ruth Littrell Lowe is now singing with the Angels, praise to the Lord for all His love and comfort during this time.
A small family gathering was her wish. There will be no services. Donations in her memory may be made to Children’s Hospital.
