Ricka Joel Smith, age 76 of Boaz passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 of Marshall Medical Center South.
His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Julia St. Methodist Church. He will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery following the service. Bro. Josh Brogdon will officiate his service. Pallbearers will be his family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. before the service at the church.
He is survived by his wife; Kathy Smith, daughter; Ericka Smith, son; Dusten Light, step-son; Stacy Kilgore and step-daughter; Pam Kilgore. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Colby and Carson Price, Savannah, Bree and Ariana Light, brothers; Mike and Bill Hamilton and Mark Smith and sister; Sheila Smith Blackwell.
