Nancy Cary Baker age 79, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Elk River Health & Nursing Center of Fayetteville.

She was born September 24, 1946, in Blue Island, Illinois, to the late Richard and Dorothy Lucht Cary. Prior to retirement, was employed at Kanus Manufacturing. She was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, watching movies, and working crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed listening to the hymns sung by Alan Jackson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Baker; son Donald Bailey; sister Bonnie Culver; brother David Cary; stepson Kenneth Wayne Baker.

She is survived by her daughter Deanna Cheeves (Jeff) of Belfast; stepson James Baker; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers Cliff Cary, Rick Cary, and Scott Cary of Indiana.

Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home and Crematory, 324 W. Church St., Lewisburg, TN, on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Round Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to an animal shelter in your local city.
