Funeral service for David S. Burnett, 66, will be Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Eaton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery (Near Eva). Visitation will be Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Burnett passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at his residence. He was born July 7, 1959, in Cullman County, to Afton E. Burnett and Margaret Ann Walker Burnett.
He was the Owner and Operator of Burnett Roofing and Construction, prior to his passing and was a wonderful husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and provider for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Wife – Lynne White Burnett,
Sons – Steven Burnett (Lindy), and
Brian Burnett,
Brother – MIke Burnett,
Sister – Joey Brown,
Four Grandchildren – Tripp Burnett, Lauren Burnett, Myla Burnett, and Lainey Weaver.
Pallbearers will be Leon Burnett, Brandon Brown, Mike Burnett, Mike Witcher, Cooper Yancey, and Matt Baldwin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Garrett Peterson, Kenneth Ward, and Joe Marshall.
