Mr. Buddy Ray Wood, age 34, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born on January 22, 1991 in Jellico, TN. He had a passion for riding his motorcycle and fishing, and working on cars is something he especially enjoyed.
He is survived by his parents Billy and Margie Wood, children Daxen Liam Wood and Kaden Wood, sister Tiffany (Calvin) Hankins, brothers James (Jessica) Youngblood, Cody Wood, and Billy (Bree) Wood, Jr., and Lawrence Brown who was like a brother. Special friends Kayleen Steele, Deanna Lightner, Joshua Lightner, Kaison Brimhall, and Brittany Rhea also survive.
The funeral service for Mr. Wood is scheduled for Friday, September 19, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Wayne Sullivan will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at 6:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McMinnville Funeral Home to help assist the family with funeral expenses.
