Parnell Kennamer, 73, passed away on September 12, 2025, after a battle with cancer. He was a lifelong resident of the Shoals area and attended Mars Hill Bible School. He worked many years at Delta Automotive under the guidance of Mr. Ben Law. After retiring, Parnell enjoyed being a member of the Shoals Model Railroad Club, talking on the ham radio, and all things electronics. He was a faithful member of the Shoals Church of Christ.
The Celebration of Life will be held at Colbert Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Visitation will be from 11 to 12 with a service to follow at 12. Dennis Jones will be officiating the service. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens with no graveside service.
Parnell is survived by his father, T. Doss Kennamer; sister, Pam Longcrier (Rickey); niece, Christy Waters (David); great-niece, Emmie Beth Waters; honorary family members, Laurel Alexander and Mike Quillen.
