Kay Brewer Garrison, 88, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025 at North Alabama Medical Center. She was born in Mississippi to Howard and Quay Brewer. She was a charter member of Cornerstone Church in God in Red Bay. She had worked at Blue Bell for over 18 years. She then was a homemaker who enjoyed the simple things in life and liked to travel.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 15, 4 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God with Bro. Rick Bradley officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 15, 2-4 at the church. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children, Wayne Garrison (Frances) and Barbra Humphries (David); five grandchildren, Randy Garrison (Anissa), Dustin Humphries, Derek Humphries (Sheena), Dallas Humphries (Kayla) and Alicia Garrison; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Garrison (Maggie), Macie Kate Humphries, Leighton Humphries and Abby Hicks; three great-great-grandchildren, Kayden, Emma and Mattox Garrison; one brother, Tommy Brewer and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Garrison, her parents and six sisters, Lavelle Moxley, Othell Taylor, Mittie Taylor, Dorothy Mayhall, Erma Brewer and Verma Walton.
Pallbearers will be Randy Garrison, Dustin Humphries, Derek Humphries, Dallas Humphries and Jacob Garrison.
