Johnny Ray Bland of Empire passed away September 12, 2025, at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday, September 14 in McCormack Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the burial at Empire Assembly of God Church.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Lillie Mae Bland, bother Kenneth Wayne Bland and sister Janie Jett.
He is survived by his wife Kathy, brother David Bland, sisters Angela Jackson, Annette Moore, daughter Amanda Harris, grandson Ka’lil Hall along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
