James Douglas Tubbs, age 64, was born on April, 11, 1961, and passed away on September 11, 2025, at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, Tn.
Mr. Tubbs is survived by his wife, Sandra G. Tubbs, of Hollywood, Al.; his daughter, April Dawn Potter of Harvest, Al.; his son, James Thomas (Megan) Tubbs of Harvest, Al.; his granddaughter, Nova Tubbs; his grandson, Atreus James Tubbs, both of Harvest, Al.; his sister, Linda (David) Smith of Athens, Al.; his niece, Hannah Smith; and nephew, Kris Smith, all of Athens, Al.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn Hammonds and Jim Tubbs.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 P.M. with Richard Strief officiating.
