Adam Jameson Long, 41, of Gurley, passed away Thursday.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Ezekiel Long; grandmother, Mildred Wells Howland; grandfather, Jon Howland; grandmother, Doris Holcomb Summerford; grandfather, James Long; and grandmother, Georgie Venerable Long.
Surviving are wife, Jody Lewis Long; daughters, Serena Ann Long and Makayla Shae Long; son, Joseph Dewayne Long; bonus daughter, Baylee Alexis Long; mother, Sheila Hannah Long; sister, Amanda Long Karlsen, many in laws; and tons of beloved nieces and nephews (some of which called him Yaya).
Visitation will be Sunday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday at 2:00 PM with Jeff Wright and Caleb Rozar officiating. Pallbearers will be Joseph Long, Timmy Lewis, Logan Stanfield, Jacob Aderholdt, Morgan Kimbrough, and Toby Guthrie.
Interment will be in Brown Cemetery.
