Stephen Boyd Tidwell, 61, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Iuka, MS and worked in shipping at Red Bud Supply. Stephen was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a faithful member of Dennis Church.
Services will be Friday, August 8, 5 p.m. at Dennis Church with Bro. Nathan Hodum and Patrick Brooks officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 8, 3-5 p.m. at Dennis Church. Burial will be in Belmont Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by a son, Stevie Horner (Ashton); grandchildren, Kacen, Avery and Kelly Horner; his father, Boyd Lee Tidwell (Sandra); his mother, Kathleen Boatwright; sisters, Sabrina Eddins (Andy) and Karissa Hall (Joey); brothers, Jonathan Deaton (Tasha), Mark Boatwright (Anna) and Scott Boatwright (Charlene) and nieces and nephews, Andrew Eddins (Johnna), Claire Eddins, Samuel Eddins, Jake and Ben Hall, Samantha and Cameron Deaton (Emily), Brandon and Matthew Boatwright, Heather Johnson and Michael Boatwright.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Kenn Boatwright.
Pallbearers will be Mark Chumbley, Bob Lambert, Patrick Brooks, Jimmy Tidwell, Jerry Tidwell, Andrew Eddins and Samuel Eddins.
