Doris Faye Voyles, 90, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Doris had a deep love for the Lord and was a devoted Christian throughout her life. She was a kind, precious soul and an incredible mother, sister, and grandmother. Her greatest wish was for her family to embrace and love the Lord. Doris remained steadfast in her faith and cherished her love for the Lord until her final moments. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Lyons (Roger), her son, Kevin Voyles, 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren, and her sisters, Kathy Reed and Marie Bendo (Jackie).
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Fooshee, her son, Kenneth Voyles, several brothers and sisters, and her parents, Willie Thomas Russell and Virgie Lee Atkinson Russell.
Services will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 2PM at Cannan Apostolic Church in Thaxton with Bro. Robbie Long officiating. Visitation will begin at noon and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Thaxton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Weeden, Richard Dillon, John Paul Grose, Doug Lavrik, Junior Voyles, and Dustin Mathis.
