Timothy Baggett, age 80 of Carbon Hill, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
Tim is a retired coal miner with Alabama Byproducts/Drummond Coal. All that knew him, knew a fine man. Daddy was the epitome of a proud, strong, loving individual. He loved his wife without measure and his children and grandchildren immensely. Daddy left this world too soon, even in our grief, we hold onto the knowledge that he is in a better place. Rest easy, we love you Daddy.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Baggett Cemetery.
Mr. Baggett was preceded in death by his Wife-Janice Baggett; Parents-Fred and Ruby and their parents; Seven siblings-Betty Joe, Bracy, Tracy, Sybil, Peggy, James (June) and Aaron; Son-Jon Anthony; Granddaughter-Brandy.
He is survived by his Daughters-Michelle Carden of Cullman and Kathy Frederick of Dora; Son-Russell Baggett of Mulga.
