Dwayne JohnsonGale (Dwayne) Johnson, age 62 of Arley, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

Dwayne (our rock) Johnson lived a life devoted to the Lord and the Arley Community.

Also known as “moose” to many during his high school football days.  Dwayne’s light shone in every corner of our community.  His unwavering commitment to serving the Lord as a deacon at Meek Baptist Church is a testimony to his love and compassion for the hearts of all who knew him.

The love he showed to his family is unparalleled.  Especially his love for his wife, Tina, to which daily he reminded her how beautiful she is and called her his “pretty lady”.  He made sure she knew how lucky he felt to be her husband.  As we mourn our earthly loss we celebrate his heavenly reward.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at Meek Baptist Church, funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m.  Burial will be at Meek Baptist Cemetery.  Bro. Corey Cochran and Bobby Smith will officiate.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his Sister-Jill Renee Young; Grandparents-Christine Johnson, Troy M. Johnson, Louise Baxley and Claude Brown.

He is survived by his Wife-Tina Marie Johnson; Mother-Vickie Johnson; Father-Gale Johnson; Nephews-Dex (Whitney) Young and Winston Young; Great Nieces-Willa and Patton Young; a host of other Family and Lifelong Friends.
