LAUDERDALE COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle has taken the life of a Florence man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. Thursday, July 24, has claimed the life of a Florence man.
Ralph L. Brown, 64, was critically injured when the 2003 Harley Davidson Sportster Custom motorcycle he was operating left the roadway, struck a culvert and a stop sign. Brown was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital where succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The crash occurred on Alabama 157 near the 79 mile marker, approximately one mile north of Florence, in Lauderdale County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
