Robert E. Tew, age 80, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 5:30pm in the Sulligent City Cemetery. Pastor Aaron Gann to officiate. Visitation will be held in the cemetery prior to the graveside services from 5:00pm until 5:30pm.
Robert was born on October 16, 1944 in Quitman, MS to the late Leroy Tew and the late Edna Todd Tew. He graduated high school in Mississippi. Robert retired from ALCOA after 20plus years of dedicated service. He loved the outdoors, especially going hunting and fishing. He was also known to be a very talented builder, working with wood was his specialty and he could make just about anything. He was well known for his beautiful swings he made and houses he built. He always used to say I have it built in my head before I start. Robert was an all around good guy and would do anything for his family and friends, which he loved dearly. You could always find Priscilla and her beloved Robert together. They traveled many roads together for 65 years. He loved his son Eric, grandchildren; Blair, Cole and Kyle, his loving wife Priscilla, and his Lord. He will truly be very missed. His humble heart and kind spirit will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. My wish and prayer for each person that reads this is that you will find a special person like I did, my beloved Robert, to share your life and be happy as we were.
