Ruth Annelle Brooks, age 87, of White House passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Hendersonville Medical Center. She was born December 16, 1937 in Springfield, TN to Alvie Cloys & Mary Avalon Armstrong Hendley She was a member of White House First Baptist Church and had been a hairdresser for many years, operating Ann’s Beauty Salon. Camping was one of the things she really enjoyed sharing with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth “Skinner” Brooks; son, Roger Terry Brooks. She is survived by her son, Randy Brooks, White House, TN; sisters, Eloise (Billy) Morgan, White House, TN and Katherine Dixon, Estero, FL; 2 grandchildren, Kelly (Adam) Binkley and Sarah (Ty) Lynch; 5 great-grandchildren, Blaine, Bray, Beckham, Miller and Lewey. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, July 11, 2025 at 1pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Pastor Ashley Mofield officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery with Kevin Nash, Josh Morgan, Billy Dixon, Nicholas Harbin, Edward Erwin and Jimmy Belcher serving as pallbearers.
