Collis Wayne Robertson, age 63, of Gary, IN, formerly of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 at Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, IN. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 12:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 11:00am until 12:00pm.

Collis was born on July 2, 1962 in Vernon, AL to the late Sonny Hackman and the late Elsie Robertson. He was a graduate of Sulligent High School. Collis was a school bus attendant for the school district where he lived in Indiana. He enjoyed being around people and socializing in his community and loved his family. He was former member of Chapel CME in Sulligent, AL and current member of Progressive Community Church in Gary, IN. His humble heart and bright spirit will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
