Bryan Ray Stratton, 60, of Athens, Alabama passed away Monday, July 7, 2025 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
Bryan was born April 22, 1965, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of the late Dolores Sue Allen Turley and Frank Perry Stratton and step-son to Robert Rex Turley, Sr.. He received his education in Pine Bluff, where he graduated from Jefferson Preparatory School in 1984. He also attended and obtained an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Arkansas College of Technology.
He has been a parts and service manager for various automotive and agri companies.
As a frequent guest at Hooks Hunting Club in Arkansas, hunting and fishing were his favorite hobbies.
Survivors include his significant other of 17 years, Cathi Yates, a daughter Paris Lei Jackson (Cole) of Decatur, AL, and a son, Austin Gage Stratton of New Mexico. He is also survived by brother Russell Allen Stratton (Janice) of Star City, AR and sister Tamara Sue Corkins (Lee) of Pine Bluff, AR. Nieces that survived him are Scarlett Byers (Chase) of Cabot, AR, and Meagan Hood (Matthew) of Hensley, AR. Nephews that survived him are Russell Aaron Stratton of St. Peters, MO and Leonard Clay Corkins (Samantha) of Sherwood, AR. He is also survived by two step brothers Scott Turley (Carol) of Fayetteville, AR and Rex Turley (Leslie) of Rogers, AR. Sister-n-law, Sarah Stratton of St. Peters, MO, uncle, Eddie Smith (Sue) of St. Louis, MO, aunt, Cora Thornton of Pine Bluff, AR and uncle, Joe Stratton of Fayetteville, AR survives him as well.
Bryan was a life long member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Pine Bluff, AR where his remains will ultimately rest next to his mother and step-father.
A Celebration of Life is to be determined in Athens, AL. And then one again in Pine Bluff, AR.
