Rita Gale Recchia, 74 of Prattville passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. She was born August 10, 1950, in Marshall County, the daughter of Donald Alvis Haynes and Maudine Fleming Haynes. She was a graduate of Arab High School, retired from Redstone Arsenal and married to Richard “Rick” Recchia who passed away April 11, 2009.
She is survived by her son: Marty Cranford (Korina Selga); grandchildren: Klay Cranford (Carly), Kolman Cranford, Kristopher Cranford (Julia), Rhain Selga and Sepheiria Faith Ramirez; sister: Sharion Marion; brothers: Larry Dunn and Bruce Dunn; host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by husband: Rick Recchia; parents: Donald and Maudine Haynes; brothers: Wayne Haynes and Jim Hayes; sister: Sandy Griggs.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Gober Funeral Chapel. The burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
