Len “Buffalo” Aday

Image Len “Buffalo” Aday, 58, Cherokee, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 1, from 6:00 until 8:00p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 2, at 11:00a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Greg Corble officiating. Interment will be in Barton Cemetery, Cherokee.

“Buffaloe” was a painter for Whitten Body Shop. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wayne Aday; brother-in-law, Melvin Nix; nephews Matthew Nix and William Strickland.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Speegle Aday; brothers, Jeff Aday (Chellie), Barry Aday and Steven Aday (Teresa); sisters, Amy Aday Rikard, Betsy Strickland (Eddie) and Stephanie Ponder (Monroe), Nine nephews and Four Nieces; “favorite” Aunt Sharon Michael (Shush Kaye), special cousin, Debbie Thompson and multiple Aunts, Uncles & Cousins and several great–nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers include Jeff Aday, Barry Aday, Jordan Aday, Steven Aday, Anthony Aday, and Jay Foster.
