Kory Stryker Knopps, 38, of Henagar, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his home. Kory was a 2005 graduate of Valley Head High School and was a painter at Shankles Body Shop.
Kory Knopps was a loving husband and father. He never met a stranger and he could talk to anyone. Kory was a happy guy who was always smiling, laughing, and telling jokes. He will be missed deeply.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Dustin Henshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Old Sardis Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. hour of service.
He is survived by his wife Kayla Knopps; his children Brantley and Kaitlyn Knopps; mother Judy Knopps; sisters Angie Smith, Felicia Mayfield, and Tracy Sharp; mother and father-in-law Brenda and Bobby Chamlee; sisters-in-law Nicole Wileman, Amanda Chamlee, and Morgan Miller; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Ty Knopps.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
