Lynn Mignon “Nonnie” Martin, 72, passed away on September 14, 2026 at the Marianna Health and Rehab Center, Marianna, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Douglas Martin of Nashville, TN; a stepdaughter, Janie L Barnett of Jemison, AL; her parents, James S. Coburn and Louise (Busler) Coburn; one brother, James Barry Coburn, sister-in-law, Sylvia Coburn, all of Florence, AL.
She is survived by her brothers, Steve “Stebo” Coburn (LaNette) of Columbus, MS and John Coburn of Round Rock, TX; five stepchildren, Jimmy Martin of Ashland City, TN, Barry Martin of Haynes City, FL, Judy White of Gallatin, TN, Mary Jo Garrett of Ashland City, TN and Bobbie Wood of Laverne, TN; five nephews and six great-nephews and nieces.
MS Martin had lived in Panama City Beach, FL for the last 25 years. While there she was employed by and retired from the Walmart Corporation. Prior to that she lived in Nashville, TN and Florence, AL, with her family. She also worked at the Wilson Sporting Goods Factory in Nashville before moving to Panama City Beach.
During the last five years she has lived with her dear good friends Heather and John Adkins. They have lovingly taken care of and made her a part of their family. For what they have done we will be forever indebted to them.
There will be a graveside service in Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, Nashville, TN on October 10, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
