Patricia Fay Fitzgerald Hurley, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
She married her Late Husband- Dallas E. Hurley on 6/17/1966. They were married for 47 years and had 3 beautiful children. They had two Daughters- Tracie and Sherrie and a Son named Robert.
Together they were blessed with two beautiful Grandchildren- Ashley and Kimberly and (5) very loved Great Grandchildren- Madisyn, Dallas, Ansley, Natalie, and Nicole.
Patricia’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and making sure that everyone was being taken care of. Patricia had a nurturing heart which was evident in her role as Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Patricia had a way of seeing the good in people, when others and the outside world couldn’t see it. When she was a resident of the long term care facility she resided in, that nurturing spirit followed her there as she was often seen checking in on other residents. She was much loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.
Patricia is preceded in death by her husband; Dallas E. Hurley, her Son; Robert E. Hurley, Father; Lewis V. Fitzgerald, mother; Myrthie Quinn-Fitzgerald, brother; Charles E. Fitzgerald, Sister; Debra Fitzgerald,-Stephenson.
Patricia is survived by her daughters; Tracie {Darren} Clarke and Sherrie Hurley-Turo, Granddaughters; Ashley {Jacob} Grace and Kimberly Dence-Acuff, Great Grandchildren; Madisyn Pickett, Dallas Pickett, Ansley Acuff, Natalie Grace, and Nicole Grace, Several nieces and nephews and a beloved pet dog; Rico.
Funeral service will be held at Bell Funeral Home Sumiton Chapel on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 1:00PM, the visitation will be Thursday evening, June 26, 2025 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM, Bro. Jack Thorn will officiate, burial to follow at Liberty Alliance Cemetery.
