Roger Harris, age 78, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 11:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service, Mr. Harris will be cremated. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00am until service time at 11:00am.

Roger Harold Harris
August 15, 1946 – June 24, 2025
Born & raised in Woodburn, KY on his family farm. The son of Lena Jewell & William Harris. He married Janice Gosa on August 10, 1966. Roger proudly served in the U.S. Air Force & spent time in Vietnam. He loved his country & our President. Preceded in death by his parents, Wm. & Lena Harris, Sister Faye Simpson (Hubert, brothers Bobby Ray, Charles (Grady) & Joe Harris. Survived by his son, Troy A. Harris (Yvette) & precious granddaughter Ava Valon Harris, adopted children Tina Register, Patrick & Kyle Register, his sister Gayle Lee and his brother Don Harris, His loving wife of 59 years, Janice Harris, his adopted brothers Tommy Sams (Betty) & Woody Latham (Teresa), along with many incredible cousins, nieces’, nephews & much-loved friends. Roger was with the Tom’s Peanut Company for 35 years. Roger enjoyed hunting, camping, and spending time with friends & family. As so many have gone before him; Roger fought a brave battle against cancer & other illnesses. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
