Memorial services for Robin Lynn Smith, age 68 of Anniston, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Trinity Baptist Church, 1500 Airport Road, Oxford, AL 36203. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Smith passed away on June 22, 2025, at UAB Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Smith; son, Jonathan (Kristy) Smith; daughters, Bethany (Gunney) Waters and Emily (Dean) Hacker; grandchildren, Gavin, Carrington, Abigail, Lilah Kate, and Caroline; and sister, Kim (Stacy) Boozer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Okalene Dodson.
Robin was a kindergarten teacher, which she enjoyed greatly. Most recently, she taught at Trinity Christian Academy. She also enjoyed vacationing in the mountains. On July 19th, Clarence and Robin would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the lung transplant team at UAB Hospital, and Jane Waters for her care.
