Obituary for Justin Lecroy
Written by nephew Caleb Alexander
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Justin Lecroy, a beloved son, uncle, and
friend, who left us on Thursday June 12th 2025. Justin, who was 43, was known for his
unwavering spirit, deep love for his family, and passion for animals, particularly his cherished
dogs and cats.
Born and raised in Cullman Alabama, Justin began working at Jack’s Foodland alongside Larry
Smith at the tender age of 13 while still in the eighth grade. His strong work ethic and
determination shone brightly, even as he faced significant health challenges throughout his life.
Justin underwent over 30 surgeries, yet he never sought disability or accepted handouts
instead, he devoted himself to caring for his parents, Barbara and Rick Lecroy.
A passionate fan of Auburn football and the Raiders, Justin found joy in the camaraderie of
sports, often cheering on his teams with enthusiasm. War Eagle! He had a particular fondness
for chicken, which was his favorite meal, and he loved to immerse himself in books, finding
solace and adventure within their pages.
Justin’s legacy will be remembered by all who knew him for his kindness, resilience, and
unwavering love for his family and friends. He leaves behind a heartbroken family, and Friends a
community that will miss his spirit dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Fairview Methodist Church in
Fairview Alabama in Justin’s memory.
A celebration of Justin’s life will be held on this Saturday 6-21-2025 at 11AM Fairview Methodist
Church in Cullman AL 1100 Wesley Ave N, Cullman, AL 35058. Friends and family are invited to
come together to honor a remarkable man who touched so many people.
