Jeannie Sue Hall Blake, 74, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at her residence with family by her side. She was born in Itawamba County, MS to Oneal Hall and Jean Farris Hall. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith. Sue was a dedicated nurse who loved her patients and always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Graveside services as per her wishes, will be Saturday, June 7, 1:30 p.m. at Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS with Bro. Greg Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by a sister, Nancy Blackburn (Norris); sister-in-law, Reita Hall; nephews, Kevin Hester and Justin Parcus Hall; nieces, Kara Beth Fisher, Stacy Hester, Tosha Grimes, Melissa Hall and Linda Gibson; special friend/companion, Roger Nelson, Sr. and special friend, Betty Sue Nichols.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Chris Blake, two sisters, Kathy Hall and Linda Hall and two brothers, Ricky Hall and Danny Hall.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Hester, Mike Prestage, Justin Fisher, Jarred Patterson, Norris Blackburn and Jimmy Gibson.
