Cathy Pardue Owens, 60, Moulton, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Visitation will be Friday, June 6, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bobby Rich officiating. Interment will be in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Cathy was a longtime resident of Cherokee. She loved her family and her fur babies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Evelyn Pardue; and grandmother, Ollie Mae Black.
Cathy is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, David Lee Owens; step-daughter, Loretta Nelson; brothers, Curtis Pardue (Sheri) and Ronnie Pardue; sister, Felicia Jeffreys (Ronnie); and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Levi Norris, Eric Norris, Danny Hollis, Caden Hollis, Brice Parker, and Josh Junior. Austin Hollis, Braden Norris, and Colten Junior will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family offers special thanks to the ICU nurses and doctors at Decatur Morgan Hospital, and Tammy Johnson.
