Ernest Payton Hargrave, 89 of Madison, Alabama, died Thursday, May 22, 2023 at his residence.
Mr. Hargrave was born October 23, 1935 in Limestone County, he was a member of Madison Church of Christ, he was retired farmer and Veteran of the Alabama National Guard.
Services will be 3pm Tuesday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Brandon Pressnell and Rick Cantrell officiating, burial in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday 2pm until service at Spry Funeral Home.
Survivors: Sons, Charles W. Hargrave of Madison, AL and Ernest Hargrave Jr. of Huntsville. Daughters, Terri Mansell of Huntsville and Vicki Hargrave of Huntsville. Step-son, Keith (Amy) Garrett of Florence. Step-daughters, Cindy (Ricky) Thigpen of Florence, Nanette (Mike) Fairley of Rogersville and Donna (Matt) Jackson of Town Creek. Elven Grandchildren. Fourteen Great Grandchildren. One Great Great Granddaughter.
Preceded in death by: Wife, Shirley Hargrave and all his siblings. Memorial may be made to A.G.A.P.E.
