Roger Mack Yocum, age 75, of Phil Campbell passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025 at North Alabama Medical Center. He was born October 10, 1949 to Floyd and Magdalene Yocum. Roger enjoyed working on cars and boats with Jon. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Visitation will be Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Crossway Church of God in Haleyville from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Smith Chapel Cemetery in Carbon Hill. Brother Michael Threadgill will officiate. Roger is survived by his wife, Peggy Yocum; children, Rodney Mark Yocum, Rhonda Yocum, Robin (Dennis) Duck; grandchildren, Erica Yocum, Marcus Yocum, Sabrina (Ben) Keeton, Katelyn Yocum, Amanda (Coty) Simpson, Jessica (Justin) White, Breanna Hampton (Dutton) Winning, Joseph Duck, Jonathan Duck, Justin Duck, Lauren Duck; and great-grandchildren, Conner Mack Yocum, Carson Simpson, Anya Winning, Willow Rose White, Payton Keeton, and Piper Cagle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Magdalene Yocum; mother and father-in-law, J.P. and Peggy Lou Davis; son, Randy Don Yocum, and granddaughter, Angel Yocum.
