Randall “Randy” Patrick McCoy, age 70, of Horton, passed away peacefully at his home on May 14, 2025. He was born on September 18, 1954, to the late J.T. and Marjorie McCoy.
Randy was a faithful member of High Point Missionary Baptist Church and a devoted husband, father, and friend. Known for his love of classic and antique cars, he enjoyed car shows and swap meets and was always willing to lend a hand or solve a problem—no matter who was calling or what the issue was.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sylvia McCoy; daughter, Melinda Allcorn (John); siblings, James McCoy, Steve McCoy, and Debbie McDonald; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Camp and Bro. Stanley Jones officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
