Samuel Heflin Profile Photo Samuel “Blake” Heflin, 27, of Moulton, Alabama passed away suddenly Wednesday, May 7, 2025, and will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Chantry Hagood officiating. Burial will be at Rock Springs Cemetery.

Born on June 8, 1997, to Ray Heflin and Pat Shields Roper. Blake or “June Bug” as his close friends knew him as, enjoyed riding four wheelers, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. June Bug graduated from Hatton High School in 2016. He worked at Jack Daniels Cooperage in Trinity.

Survivors include his mother, Pat (Buddy) Roper; father, Ray Heflin; three brothers, Taylor Heflin, Caleb Roper, and Travis “Skeeter” Heflin; grandmother, Luree Shields; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Samuel was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bobby Shields; paternal grandparents, Alton Heflin Sr. and Edith Heflin.

Pallbearers will be Landon Suski, Connor Greene, Brandon Pace, Kaleb Thomas, Dylan Nix, and Braxton Craig.
