Funeral services for Mr. Robert Earl Bell will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 2PM in the sanctuary of White Hall Baptist Church, in Trenton, TN. Visitation with the family will be held 5-8PM, Tuesday, May 13, 2025, and again Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 12PM until service time in the sanctuary of White Hall Baptist Church. Burial will follow in White Hall Cemetery.

Robert Earl Bell was born on January 21, 1937, and died on May 11, 2025, at the age of 88. He was born in Perry County, TN, but moved to Gibson County during his childhood and remained a resident of Gibson County for the rest of his life. He was the son of Raymond and Verna Gean Bell. He graduated from Spring Hill High School in 1955. In 1957 he married Peggy Freeman with whom he recently celebrated 68 years of marriage. They owned and operated Bell Appliance Center in Trenton for many years. He was a member of Whitehall Baptist Church and served as a deacon for many years. Mr. Bell was a 32nd degree Mason. He served on the board for the development of the Gibson County Lake and recently the Gibson County Lake Planning Board. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brother Ronnie Bell.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Peggy, daughters Kim Buckley and Julie Haynes, son Tim Bell and brother Kenneth Bell. He had six grandchildren Leslie Bell Milligan, Kelcie Haynes Sherrod, Jessica Bell Waycaster, Taylor Haynes, Jesse Robert Buckley, and Jordan Haynes. He had seven great grandchildren Jaxon Sherrod, Maddie Milligan, Lincoln Sherrod, Charles Waycaster, Beau Milligan, Everleigh Sherrod, and Amelia Bell Waycaster.
