Robert B. Harris, 83, passed away May 4, 2025, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. A life-long truck driver, he loved old cars and racing with his son, Chris. He loved the Lord and was a member of Thaxton Baptist where he loved attending. Yearly trips to Branson were enjoyed by Robert, his wife, Wanda, sister, Janie Long, sister in law, Barbara, and their friend, Jo Waldo. He loved life, his family, laughing, and having a good time.
Survivors include his wife, Wonda Harris of Thaxton, his son, Chris Harris (Kim) of Cincinnati, OH, his daughters, Misty Sneed and Brandy Short, his grandchildren, Casey Harris, Cody Mathis, Bailey Holloway, Chase Bramlett, Brody Sneed, Jana Sneed, Chelsea Harris, and Carley Harris, and his sisters, Janie Long and Maxine Hodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Luedale Harris, sister, Wilma Stepp, son, Gary Harris, brothers in law, Leroy Long, Julian Hodge, and JW Stepp, nephew, Dennis Long, and his first wife, Eloise Harris.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm May 17, 2025 at Thaxton Baptist Church with Bro. Glenn Reeder officiating. Burial will be in New Faith Cemetery.
