William “Billy” Edward Warren, 89, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at his home.
Mr. Warren lived in the Murfreesboro community for 35 years where he was a Professor of Marketing at Middle Tennessee State University. He spent his free time making sure his lawn was well taken care of as well as enjoying the flowers.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Morgan Warren and Bertha Lillian Hill Warren, as well as one sister, Ila Faye.
He is survived by one son, one brother, Tommy (Deweese) Warren, two sisters, Geraldine “Jeri” Dillard and Lynda (Carlos) Wray, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service for Mr. Warren will be held at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama on Monday, May 5, 2025, with service time beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
